I just finished reading The Guest a novel by Emma Cline and I am unsure of what my review is...I read it really quickly (in just 3 days) and I really enjoyed Cline's writing style but I did not love the subject matter...so take that for what you will! In the end, any book that keeps me engaged and wanting to keep reading is a win in my book!

One of my goals for 2024 is to read more. So far over the past month and half I have finished eight books, so I am certainly at a better cadence than I was last year. I often read on my Kindle Oasis or listen to audio books via the Libby App or Audible. I find I reach much more often thanks to my kindle, as I love the compact size and how light weight it is! It is so easy to throw in your purse and allows me to read during random quiet moments like on the subway or in a waiting room.

My family and I are out in Deer Valley, Utah to ski for a few days. An unseasonably warm winter day in New York City called for bare ankles and my favorite Brown Suede Ballet Loafers from Tory Burch. These shoes are a favorite of mine for walking around in New York City, they are just so comfortable! (I am in my true shoe size.)
Celebrating 30! I am in love with this black satin jewel-embellished skirt from ALC (it runs quite big, so I would size down, I am in a size 12 when my pant size is usually 16 or 18.) After considering the Panier Medium Bag from Saint Laurent for what felt like years, I finally went for it and splurged on the crochet raffia tote before heading to the Bahamas. I am happy to report that I am thrilled with my purchase; it is perfect for the beach! I purchased the bag via the Cettire site but you can also find from most other major retailers.
