Two of my favorite beauty products are the Active Treatment Essence and the Active Botanical Serum from Vintner’s Daughter. The splurge worthy, award-winning formulations are made of active botanicals, 100 natural ingredients and deliver real results!

Vintner’s Daughter Review

How to Use the Vintner’s Daughter Essence and Serum 

Morning or Night: 

• Both skincare products can be used twice a day (or just at morning or night.)  Because the face oil and essence are both pricer products, I mainly use them only in my nighttime skincare routine (I have heard that you see the best results from products you use at night because they have more time to penetrate into your skin.) 

Cleanse:

• I start my nighttime skincare routine with a double cleanse.
• First I remove my makeup with Micellar Water from Bioderma on a Cotton Pad.
• Then for my second cleanse, I wash my face with my Cleansing Complex by IsClincial and dry my face with towels from Clean Skin Club. 

Apply The Essence:

• Once I have clean skin, I spray 4-5 spritzes of the Active Treatment Essence onto my face, neck and chest. I then use my palms to pat the product into my skin.
• April Gargiulo, the founder of Vintner’s Daughter, calls this the ‘Pat and Press Method.’
• This hydrating product is full of brightening vitamins and nutrients.  
• *Note, the Essence has a slight apple cider smell. I do not love this scent but I quickly got used to it. 

Apply The Serum:

• Next, I put about five drops of the Active Botanical Serum into one palm. I then rub both palms together to warm up the face oil slightly and then pat the Serum all over my face and neck.
• Vintner’s Daughter calls this the ‘Push & Press Method,’ suggesting you do it for about 30 seconds on your face, neck, and décolleté.
• This face oil combines brightening vitamins with moisturizing fatty acids to create a multi corrective product. The serum is made of 100% natural ingredients and incorporates Vintner’s Daughters’ Phyto Radiance Infusion process.

Complete Nighttime Skincare Routine

• If you would like, those three steps could be your full nighttime skincare routine. These two products from Vintner’s Daughter are said to offer a full spectrum of skincare results in just a few steps.

Option, Additional Skincare Steps

• If you are a skincare enthusiast (like I am) here are few more steps you could add into your nighttime routine 
  • Vitamin A // Retinol: If you use a retinol it is best to apply that after your Vintner’s Daughter products. 
  • Apply Eye Cream: If you feel that you need more nourishment around your eye area, this would be the time for that skincare step. My two favorite eye creams are the Awakening Eye Gel from Tammy Fender and The Return Eye Concentrate from U Beauty. 
  • Apply Moisturizer: I typically find that the Serum gives me enough hydration that I do not need to follow up with a cream moisturizer (especially in the summer months.) But as we get into the dryer months of the winter, I will add a layer of Instant Angel from Dieux Skin to my face ask my final skincare step. 

Will Vintner’s Daughter products work with my skin type?  

Of course, everyone has different skin types and we all react to products differently. If it is helpful for comparison, I have sensitive skin that can be acne prone in my t-zone. I suggest referring to the FAQ on the brand’s website if you have more questions. 

Before & After Using Vintner’s Daughter Products:

Before using Vintners Daughter products, my skin felt dull and lackluster. Additionally, I was having some texture issues on my forehead with old acne scars. It felt like it was time to change my skincare routine, so I decided it was time to splurge on the Active Botanical Serum from Vintner’s Daughter, a so-called ‘miracle’ product.

After using the skincare duo for over two years, I saw a huge change with the brightness and texture of my face. I have had both instant and long-lasting results. Within a month of first using both products I started to see changes on my face: my skin’s overall surface was much smoother and brighter. Then after using the product for longer, the results only continued. My skin is hydrated, brighter and more smooth and clear overall from using Vintner’s Daughter.
