Happy Monday! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. I was home in Maine with my family and we had a relaxing and low key weekend. As I mentioned on instagram, the weather in Maine was not wonderful over the weekend, which led to lots of lazy afternoons. But after how busy it was over July 4th, it was nice to have this weekend be a bit more quiet. I went to acupuncture again on Friday,  had a delicious meal at Central Provisions in Portland, and spent a lot time with my family! It was nothing to exciting but very relaxing. I was happy to have a low key Friday and Saturday because on Sunday morning I flew back to New York as I start work today! Once I am more settled and a few months have passed, I am sure I will share more about the change from college to working life here on the blog. But for now, in keeping with the regular blog schedule here on Simply Elegant, the sixth installment of Simply Found. 

This week I came across Onia and their beautiful swimsuits, my favorite style is the Kelly. A classic one piece cut with distinctive designs, from a blue paint stroke to a multicolored bird. Speaking of swimming, when I went to the beach throughout this past week, I continually reached for my Ilia Lip Conditioner. I love all the Ilia lipsticks (my favorite all natural brand for lip color) so I was excited to try their Lip Balm that has SPF included…my lips always get chapped in the summer from getting too much sun.

Moving on from natural lip balm, we need to quickly discuss natural dry shampoo. If you read Simply Elegant regularly, you know how adamantly I try to use natural and chemical free beauty products. Over the past few years I have been slowly switching over all my skincare and makeup products to natural alternatives, from shampoo to mascara. However, I have not found a great natural dry shampoo… but my friend Brooke shared that she loves this dry shampoo by Captain Blankenship. So I am thinking it will be my next beauty purchase! 

One last thing — we need to discuss the Barney’s New York shoe collection. When I stopped in the new Barney’s downtown location the other week I was drawn to these beautiful two strap slide sandals. They didn’t have my size on hand in store, so I ended up looking online later that day. And not only do I still love the two strap sandals…but when I was on their online store I ended up realizing that Barney’s has a great shoe collection that is designed in house. Right now I am also eyeing this wrap heel in black.
