Ariel Okin for Society Social – my friend Ariel launched a wonderful collection of furniture for Society Social, with everything from a sofa and bookcase to side tables and pillows. It is so hard to pick a favorite piece, but I am just in LOVE with the scallop detailing on the Amy Console. (Also, if you don’t follow @ArielOkin on instagram, you are missing out, she always shares such beautiful images and inspiration!)
Margaux Shoes / 20% Off – As many of you know, Margaux is my go-to shoe brand, I love all their styles from their block heel and uptown sandal to their demi flat. From now until Mother’s Day (May 11th), Margaux is offering 20% the majority of their items with the option to donate a portion of your discount to No Kid Hungry. Last week, I added their cashmere/wool knit Slipper to my collection, and I have been wearing them non-stop (my official quarantine shoe choice!)
Minnow x J.Crew – Minnow, who makes the most adorable children’s swimwear, has collaborated with J.Crew on a small collection of women’s and children’s swimwear in a pretty blue floral print. It looks as though the women’s one-piece has already sold out, but the women’s rash guard is still available as well as the boy’s and girl’s swimwear.
Flower Delivery – Have you tried any flower delivery services during quarantine? For Easter, we ordered a Flower Box from Lewis Miller – you receive a box of flowers fresh from Holland as well as a link to videos with floral arranging tips! It becomes a fun little project/activity. For Mother’s Day, I wanted to try another source, so I ordered my Mom a few peonies from Farmgirl Flowers. Another service the sells beautiful blooms is Flowerbx, I would order from them when I was in NYC, and they have now expanded to ship to about 12 states (ours not included…) but if they happen to ship to where you live they could be a great resource!
Block Print Placemat from Pottery Barn – (on sale!) Every few nights we are trying to set the table with different tablecloths and placemats, a fun and simple way to pass the time and change things up. These would be fun placemats to add to our collection! Speaking of table settings, go follow @maxsinsteden on instagram! Talk about tabletop perfection!
‘I Heart NY’ Sweaters from Lingua Franca – I have always loved Lingua Franca’s embroidered cashmere sweaters (I have on that reads ‘old school’), and it has been inspiring to see how they are responding to Covid19. Back in early March, my Mom and I took a Zoom class with the Lingua Franca team and followed their tips on sewing face masks. It feels that almost weekly they are launching new sweater designs, all with a portion of the proceeds going to various charities. These ‘I Heart NY’ sweaters are pulling at my heartstrings as I miss New York so much right now; 20% of the proceeds from each NY sweater supports The New York Blood Center.
