As we know with needlepoint projects, there is a long lead time from start to finish! These days, the process of having your stitched canvas made into a final product can take 6 weeks to 4+ months! But for me, I find the waiting process almost fun, because it feels a bit like Christmas when your project is shipped back to you from the needlepoint finisher!

This small, ‘Staying Home is The New Going Out’ canvas was a fun and quick stitch. As you can see, I changed the colors from orange and teal and white and blue.

Needlepoint Pillow Project Details

Canvas design: ‘Staying Home is The New Going Out’ Needlepoint Canvas by Stitch-Its. (As always, any local needlepoint store should be able to order this canvas for you. But if you want to buy online I found this canvas on Lycette’s site (currently sold out) and Needlepoint.com. I originally purchased this canvas from Greystone Needlepoint but it looks they do not have it in stock, currently.)

Thread: The thread (or fibers as they are often called for needlepoint) I used were from Silk & Ivory (my favorite fiber brand.) The colors I used are: White (02), Chambray(200) and Larkspur(101.)

Finishing: I used Rittenhouse Needlepoint for the finishing of this canvas into a small needlepoint pillow.

Chair fabric is Teal Seaweed from Sibyl Colefax  and the throw blanket on the chair is from St. Frank.
