As I reorganized my medicine cabinet this weekend, I realized it could be fun to share my current skincare routine. After countless trials (and certainly some errors) I seem to have landed on a great routine. I am sure it is a bit more complicated than it might need to be…probably a few too many options to rotate through, but none the less it seems to work!
I have found that brands or salons will often give you a whole list of suggestions from just one brand – but I have never had much success using products solely from one company. Instead, finding a good mix of products from various brands seems to be the best solution! Sort of the best of the best from each brand!
My skin is normal and acne prone – so these products are what is best for my face – but this, of course, would vary person to person based on one’s skin type. So no one should probably copy this exact regimen, but what I can say is that I swear by all of these products! Do you have any products that are your go-to favorites?
See my full routine and list of products below.
CLEANSE: Cleansing Complex from iS CLINICAL or Regenerating Cleanser from Tata Harper
EXFOLIATE: Alpha Beta Daily Peel from Dr. Dennis Gross or P50 from Biologique Recherche (I only exfoliate about 3 times a week)
TREAT: Retinol Reform from Shani Darden (already trying to ward off wrinkles! Only use at night and just 2-3 times a week.) or C-Firma Day Serum from Drunk Elephant (great for skin brightening! I only use it in the morning. ) or Active Botanical Serum from Vintner’s Daughter (the holy grail in my mind – great for a range of skin concerns!) or Active Serum from iS CLINICAL (for acne prone skin.)
MOISTURIZE: Clarifying Moisturizer from Tata Harper and Illuminating Eye Cream from Tata Harper (expensive but worth it!)
MASK: Resurfacing Mask from Tata Harper ( great before a big day/ night out! makes your skin so bright, almost like a glow!) or Masque Vivant from Biologique Recherche (an exfoliating mask, I use about once a week) or Light Therapy Acne Mask from Neutrogena (best to use daily but I typically end up only doing 3x a week, great for keeping acne at bay.)
