Quick Makeup Routine

You all know that I love all things skincare and makeup; I love finding simple, well preforming products that give me that natural ‘my skin, but better’ look.

While I am continually trying new brands and products, I also stay pretty loyal to my simple morning makeup routine that takes me less than 5 minutes.

Tinted Moisturizer from Saie

Most days, I don't want to wear a full face of heavy foundation so instead I prefer to use a lightweight tinted moisturizer that helps even out my skintone and give me a simple base layer. This Saie product does just that - I just use about two pumps all over my whole face and it gives you that perfect 'your skin but better' look. (I wear shade 3 and 3.5 depending on how tan my skin is.)

Luminous Silk Concealer from Armani Beauty

Concealers are tricky...at any given time I usually have a few that I jump between because I seem to never find one that I am obsessed with. As of late, I see to reach for this Armani Concealer more than others, but that truly might just be out of habit. I think my hunt for the perfect concealer continues..! (If you have one you swear by, let me know!)

Fake Awake Eye Highlighter from tarte

If I am feeling and looking particularly tired - I swear by using a nude eyeliner to help look more awake. What you do is lightly add this eyeliner to your lower waterline and you will find that it helps to quickly brighten your eyes. (I don't do this every day but instead just on the days where I need a little extra help looking awake!)

Setting Powder from Charlotte Tilbury

This product is such a classic! Over the years I have strayed and tried other setting powders, but I always seem to circle back and re-purchase this Charlotte Tilbury version, it really just seems to be the best. I love that it is a pressed powder instead of loose, as it just is less messy and easier to travel with.

Brow Pencil from Westman Atelier

You all know I love a strong & bold brow - and this pencil from Westman Atelier does just the trick. I wear shade Bark.

Face Trace Cream Contour from Westman Atelier

I am no Kardashian or TikTok makeup star, so contouring is really NOT my specialty but I do find a little bit is helpful. This stick from Westman Atelier makes add a little definition very easy.

Cream Highlighter from Westman Atelier

You all know that I am such a fan of countless Westman Atelier makeup products but if I had to pick just one product from their whole collection, it would be this pink hued creamy highlighter. I almost consider this a miracle product, it just gives you that beautiful glow every woman wants their skin to have. I like to wear on the tips of my cheeks and my eyelids.

Cream Blush from Merit

For blush, I typically go back and forth between Merit and Westman Atelier cream blushes; to me they both are great (though sometimes I wonder if the Westman ones dry out a bit over time?) Lately, I have been using this bright pink shade (Stockholm) from Merit.

Powder Bronzer from Westman Atelier

I have used this Westman Bronzer for at least a year or two and it continues to be a favorite - it just gives my skin that perfect subtle tan that we all want.

Mascara from Tower28

I feel like I have tried every 'clean' mascara option on the market and when I first tired this Tower28 mascara in the fall of 2022, I quickly fell in love! It wont give you the longest boldest lashes but instead a very natural look that is great for everyday wear. It was developed to work well for those with sensitive eyes or those wearing contacts (aka me!) Of course, it also doesn't hurt that it is $20!

Lipstick from Merit

I own a lot of lipsticks (don't we all) but day after day, I seem to always reach for this Merit lipstick in shade Millennial. It just seems to be the perfect pink shade to match my skintone. I also just love the formula for this lipstick - it is lightweight and has a lovely silky feel.
