After last week in Maine, I thought it would be fun to share some of the photos. From fresh peonies to walks along the beach, it was a simple but wonderful week at home with my family.

We have lived in Maine my entire life and it is one of my favorite places in the whole world! We live in southern Maine, right outside of Portland. I love our location in Maine because our town is quiet and small but we can easily hop in the car and be in the quaint city (it is pretty small, so a city sounds like a strong word..) of Portland. I will have to create a city guide to Portland because it is full of great restaurants and cute shops! There is something about the salty air in Maine and slower pace of life that makes it a wonderful spot in the summer months.
