After ending my internship last week, I am back home in Maine for the last few weeks of summer! My outfits in Maine are a bit different than what I wore to work in the city, I transition from mainly black and white pieces to more pastel hues. White jeans are a constant go to for me, such a summer basic! 

The other day I was walking down Lexington Avenue heading to Roberta Roller Rabbit, my favorite store for bright summer prints! A block lower than Roberta is J.McLaughlin. I didn’t plan on stopping, but as I walked by the window I saw a dress that caught my eye! I of course then turned around and headed in to take a peek. I saw so happily surprised because they had some really great pieces, and a major summer sale, so win=win in my book. I ended up leaving with this great blue eyelet top and I can not wait to wear it! I feel like it will be perfect to wear for so many occasions, with white jeans like above, dark jeans or a skirt. They also have the top in white, which  I considered because I usually tend to like neutrals, but the pale blue was just so pretty.
