Dr. Scholl's for JCrew

Are Dr. Scholl’s making a comeback? Yes, that Dr. Scholl’s, the brand that makes the insoles your grandmother buys for her sneakers at CVS, they also make sandals. Remember those wooden platform sandals, really they are more of a mix between a sandal and a clog, that were everywhere in the early 2000s. Well those babies are back. The sandal that was everywhere in middle school has returned, but the question is, are you going to buy a pair?

This spring, J.Crew released an exclusive line of patterns for Dr. Scholl’s, from gingham to madras (in case the classic sandal was not peppy enough to begin with.) However, if neutrals are more your thing, the classic tan leather is also available. If you are not sure your are ready to return to the fashion faux pas of the early 2000s, there is no need to look any further than Ancient Greek Sandals. The brand released a similar platform style this spring.

While I do not ever want to think about what I wore in middle school again…I have to admit I think I could jump on the Dr. Scholl’s bandwagon once again. What do you think? Will one of these platform sandals be making their way into your closet this summer?
