The Symmetry Pochette from Savette might be my favorite purse at the moment!

I just love the simple and minimal design, the gold hardware and small size of the bag. After admiring the brand for over a year I bought the handbag in late 2022 and as I look back on last year, it was certainly one of my favorite purchases. What is the story behind Savette, the brand?

Savette, a modern accessory brand, was founded by Amy Zurek in 2020. The New York based brand aims to create timeless designs that can be passed down through generations. It should come as no surprise that the fashion world quickly loved Savette as a brand, as Amy previously designed handbags at acclaimed brands such as The Row and Khaite. 

What is the Symmetry Pochette?

This small top handle purse is a perfect example of Savette’s focus on elegant and classic styles. The Symmetry Pochette features a simple and logo-less trunlock hardware and a leather top handle. The bag measures to be 9 inches long, 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. The purse retails starting at $1,190 and increases in price based on the bag material.

What can I fit in the Symmetry Pochette?

While this top handle purse is small, it has just enough room to hold all your necessities. I am able to fit my iphone, my wallet, keys and a lipgloss. If I forgo my wallet and use a cardcase instead, I can then also have room for sunglasses or a external iphone charger.

Where can I buy Savette handbags?

Savette styles are available for purchase directly on their website or in a select collection of retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Net-A-Porter. I wanted to see the bag in person before purchasing so I went to the Bergdorf Goodman store in New York City where a small assortment are available in store.
